Opinions are like...

Mid-lastmonth I joined this survey panel named Opinion Square so I could get $1 or something like that from InboxDollars.  I've completed like 6 surveys, but I've only been credited for five of them.  Two more credits and I'll have $5 to spend on Amazon.  They give "tokens" for not qualifying for a survey, 100 out of the 1,000 points in my balance are from that.  The cool thing is I got $5 from my Gramma for a Ralph Lauren beach towel that I won via a token @ Opinion Square.  So I now have $5.  Yay.
Matty Collector is a huge waste of money.  They're asking $265 + X? in shipping for two Ghostbusters 6" action figures and an Ecto-1 that can fit the figures.  Something like this back in 1987 would have cost $60 in 2013 dollars.  The only improvement that's been made is the toys are likenesses of the actors and not the cartoon characters and they have like a million points of articulation.  Not something I'd pay $150++ extra for.  Matty Collector sells by subscription, which forces people to spend a huge amount of money for stuff that would otherwise cost a lot less.  Mattel released a Christmas gift pack of four GHOSTBUSTERS II action figures with proton packs and Santa hats.  It only cost $70.  Not a bad deal compared to paying $20 + $8 S&H every two or three months for whatever variant Mattel/Matty Collector decides to churn out.  I got the Winston from the GB2 gift pack used on eBay for less than $10.  I would have loved to buy the GB2 gift pack brand new, but I couldn't afford it then.  And they were limited editions Toys 'r' Us exclusives.  I had planned to save up but they started coming out before Halloween, so by Christmas they were sold out, or I figured they would be anyway...
So far I've gone without overdrawing my bank account this month.  My bank policy allows users with a "Demand Deposit Account" (not sure what that means) to overdraw up to $5 without OD fees.  My bank ususally declines any charge over $3 though.  I've been just going through my days without wanting anything other than happiness, which I know will be extremely hard to come by in the not too distant future.  No matter what I put myself through in the present, if the Antichrist's henchmen are cutting at me, it's going to hurt.  And there's worse things they can do I'm sure.  It just seems weird that there's nothing I want.  There's things I like to look at.  Some things are appealing albeit useless.  GoHastings is selling a Ghostbusters drinking cup decorated to look like it's covered in goopy slime.  Of all the works of art out there, it seems pointless to spend 1/8th of my disposable income on a stupid cup.  I sorta need a wallet.  There's a Ghostbusters wallet I've wanted for awhile on clearance for less than $8 on GoHastings as well.  Or it was a few days ago...[5? minutes later] -- I went ahead and bought it.  I had some gift cards I used to repay my mom for money I owe her.  They still say they have 8 left.  A week or less ago they said they had 7.  Sure is taking them a long time clear out their unwanted junk...I first noticed it was on clearance like 2+ months ago actually.  A part of me thinks "FALSE IDOLS!" when I consider buying GB merch.  Not sure if that falls under that umbrella or not.  It's probably not a particularly Christian thing to buy Ghostbusters stuff...especially considering how little I donate to the Church...which so far is nothing...Oh, yeah, and the wallet went down $0.25.  Yay.  (I think it went down $0.75 actually, not sure...grand total today is $7.49.  It was over $8 apprx a week ago......)

I'm listening to Pandora right now, sparadically enjoying it.  "A Forest" just finished playing.  Is The Cure the path to happiness?  Eh...PORNOGRAPHY is a pretty intense listen.  Their music on SEVENTEEN SECONDS and FAITH is atmospheric, but too dreary, IMO.  Nice to sleep to, I suppose.
